If you want to change the base color of the shirt, double click the smart object you want to edit. Create a rectangle that fills up the canvas on each part of the shirt. Then arrange the rectangle behind the design. Then click save and go back to the main file to see your changes.

Copy and paste the 6 figure code (HEX Code) on your color picker to have a uniform color throughout the garment.
